Our Mission:
The mission of the Bay Area Glass Institute (BAGI) is to make the celebration of glass art accessible to all and provide continued artistic and educational growth to artists, patrons and the community.

About:
BAGI is the only public access glass-working facility in Santa Clara County that has fully functional glassblowing, fusing and torch working studios. As a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, BAGI is funded in part by the City of San Jose's Office of Cultural Affairs and the Arts Council Silicon Valley. We educate the public about art glass by teaching a variety of glass-working classes, offering free public demonstrations, and bringing in international and locally renowned guest artists to conduct free demonstrations and lectures. Every year, BAGI hosts the Annual Great Glass Auction and cosponsors the Great Glass Pumpkin Patch®. BAGI's goal is to continue expanding its education and program offerings to artists and the general public.
