The Heart Walk is the American Heart Association's (AHA) premiere event for raising funds to save lives from this country's No. 1 and No. 5 killers - heart disease and stroke. Designed to promote physical activity and heart-healthy living, the Heart Walk creates an environment that's fun and rewarding for the entire family.
The Heart Walk hosts both company and community teams that take part in fundraising and walking at the event. The walk is five kilometers, and there is a Miracle Mile option as well. The start and finish site of the event has a festival area where you will find AHA- and corporate- sponsored booths with activities and giveaways.

Set-up and Expo: 8:30 AM 12:30 PM - Event layout, sponsor banners, prep lunch and assist sponsors and AHA staff, team photos, and VIP tent.
Route/Water Stop: 11:30 AM 1:30 PM - Set up and break down of water stop booths and cheer on walkers.
Event/Clean up: 12 PM 3:30 PM - VIP tent, distribute lunch, festival tents, assist sponsors and AHA staff where needed. Event breakdown.
