Our Mission:
To enable economically disadvantaged high school students to enter and thrive in the economic mainstream by providing them the knowledge and work experience required to succeed as professionals.
About:
Genesys Works is a non-profit that connects local disadvantaged high school students to meaningful, technology-focused internships within over 20 Bay Area companies, including Salesforce, Google, and PG&E. Through a 14-month program that combines technology and soft-skills training, workplace experience, and college support, Genesys Works students transform into confident young professionals, prepared to pursue a path toward academic and professional success. Genesys Works is creating a platform through which schools, business, and communities work together to create lasting change for our youth and our communities. In fact, more than 95% of their program graduates go on to college, most of them being the first in their family to pursue higher education. Since 2013, we have grown from an initial cohort of 29 students to serving over 200 students across the broader Bay Area. We look forward to continued growth and supporting more students on their path to success.
