Our Mission:
We are dedicated to providing long-term assistance in economic self-sufficiency, health care, education and emergency relief for victims of natural disasters in Thua Thien Hue and nearby areas in Central Vietnam.
About:
Friends of Hue Foundation (FHF) is committed to providing long-term assistance in economic self-sufficiency, health care, education and emergency relief for victims of natural disasters in Thua Thien Hue and nearby areas in Central Vietnam. FHF serves its mission by running three individual operations: the Health Initiative, the Financial Initiative, and the Children’s Shelter in the Xuan Phu neighborhood of Hue City. The Health Initiative includes both the Health Education through Peer Training program and the Mobile Clinic Program, while the Financial Initiative encompasses the “Mending Communities One Stitch at a Time” Initiative as well as a unique capital loan equipment program in which FHF is partnered with Thriive. While these previous programs’ activities change depending on funding and need, the Children’s Shelter at Xuan Phu is our top priority and the heart of our foundation. Voluntary assistance serves as the fuel for the Friends of Hue Foundation, and we appreciate your involvement, whether it be in the form of monetary donations or on-site / off-site volunteering.
