Our Mission:
To support and develop community programs to meet the educational, social and physial needs of our youths through the recruitment, training and placement of volunteer tutors and mentors.

About:
Partners for New Generations is a community based and supported 501(c)(3) organization that provides tutors at all grade levels (K-8) in the Mountain View/Whisman and Los Altos School Districts and mentors to high schools in the Mountain View-Los Altos Union High School District. Volunteer tutors and mentors, 18 years and older, are needed to work with students. Tutors work with elementary and middle school children. Mentors work with high school students from Mountain View HS, Los Altos HS and Alta Vista HS. Generally volunteers commit to one hour once a week during the school year and may work with individual or small groups of students. Tutors and mentors are required to be fingerprinted, have a negative TB test, and attend a one-hour Youth Protection Training program.
